Fiona Apple is being held hostage! OK, maybe she's not, but her music is. In 2003, she recorded an album that has since been "stored indefinitely" in a warehouse at Sony Music. Why? Because Sony's new president decided it's not commercial enough, so Sony reclaimed the master recordings and put them in a warehouse, never to be heard again (unless she somehow makes a huge comeback, at which time I'm sure they will release her rare "property").
